Launching Zoho Reports 3.0

We are excited to announce the all new Zoho Reports 3.0, with a sleek new interface and loads of new features.
 
New UI
The user interface has been completely revamped. It's now sleek, light, easy to navigate, and in line with the other Zoho products. The actions are now grouped logically, and the user experience is better than before.


New Connectors
We are also announcing the availability of new data connectors for the following popular business applications.
  • Google Analytics
  • Salesforce
  • ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus
This adds into the wide range of data connectors that Zoho Reports already supports, like Zoho CRM, Projects, Creator, Recruit, Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive etc. More data connectors are lined up including integration with Zendesk etc.
 
Drill down
Zoho Reports has the feature of seeing the underlying data of any particular data point in your chart or pivot table or summary views. Now, we are introducing a much more intuitive & exploratory drill down feature in charts. With this drill down feature, you can click on any data point in the chart and visualize the underlying data in a new chart. For example, if you have plotted the Sales across Years, you can drill down to the view the sales by quarter, month or week, by clicking on the corresponding data point in the chart. 


KPI Widgets in Dashboards
You can now include KPI widgets in dashboards. KPI widgets are single number view components, with possible trend indicators, providing a quick & easy visualization of any data metric. These will provide you an overall view of your important indicators. You can have up/down indicators too, allowing easy visualization of how a metric (say, website traffic) looks like when compared to past values. The trend indicators (up/down indicators) to visualize how a metric (say website traffic) looks like when compared to past values. And you can add any number of KPI widgets in a dashboard.

 
Slide Shows
Many of our customers (it can well be you!) have this best practice of displaying Zoho Reports reports & dashboards on large TV screens. This allows for an at-a-glance live view of important metrics and trends. So far we supported the large screen TV projection option with auto refresh interval for a single report or dashboard. We are now enhancing this with a new slide show feature, where you can stack reports & dashboards in a slide deck and play them continuously in a loop on your large TV screens or any device. This makes monitoring of multiple metrics much easier.
 
Apart from projecting on large screens, you can also embed such slide shows in any web page too.

 
Model Diagrams
With Zoho Reports, you can design your reporting database by linking/connecting different data tables. With the new Model diagrams, Zoho Reports now allows you to see the overall design of your database - how the tables are connected with each other, and which column looks up which other columns.
 
The model diagrams can be viewed for the overall reporting database or at a specific data table level (to know its surrounding links). Built-in zoom in/out and panning feature helps you to easily navigate and visualize your database model.

Other than the enhancements listed above, we have added many more improvements across the product.
